Personal Projects

These projects are for folks who plan on making no profit from the artwork. As such, I take on personal projects for a lower hourly rate— $50–$75/hr.

Portraits

I love working with clients to immortalize family, friends, and pets with illustrated portraits. Rates start at $50/hr for digital, and $75/hr for traditional portraits. Quotes varies on size, production, shipping, and timeline.

Weddings

I love designing playful, bright wedding suites. You can hire me for the whole printed shebang, or just the announcement cards. Discounts available for larger projects. I can also help you build your wedding site in Squarespace.

Signature Color

This will be the main color your brand is known for, applied to your logo graphics. A more robust color palette (beyond signature color, black, and white) will be charged an additional fee.

Logo Spec Sheet

A one-page guide document that outlines the essential rules for your logo and its usage, alongside color codes for your signature color.

Pro Projects

These types of projects are typically for businesses who wish to profit from the artwork in some way. Rates for this work start at $100/hr.

Product Licensing

Merchandise is some of my favorite stuff to design for. Feel free to hire me for things like pattern design, stationery products, gifts, and anything inbetween. I'm willing to negotiate copyright, alongside royalty deals compared to flat rates.

Murals

Brand Discovery

Our kickoff meeting will center around all of the touchy-feely aspects of your brand that aren’t visual. We’ll outline your brand’s mission, vision, values, target demographic, personality, and competition. I liken this step of the process to building a house’s foundation— so everything that follows it will be secure and sturdy.

Logo Design

I’ll pitch you a series of 3 black & white logo concepts for your brand, tested on mock-ups to prove efficacy. Once a concept is chosen, I’ll finalize the logo and deliver you all the files you’ll need for launch.

This is great for the budding small business on a tighter budget.

Branding Concepts

I’ll pitch you 3 distinct directions for your branding, based around the logos you chose previously. This pitch will include the logos in a dynamic system; as well as color, typography, layout, and pattern in order for you to see the concepts come to life. You’ll choose your favorite direction to move forward with.

Color Palette

We’ll create a robust color palette for your brand, centered around your signature color. This system will include primary and secondary swatches, with all of the color codes you’ll need to create them for web & print.

Typography System

Specifc typefaces and their respective fonts to be used in all brand assets. Typography will be assigned for headlines, subheadings, body copy, captions, and specialty use

Brand Spec Sheet

A one-page guide document that outlines the essential rules for your logo and its usage, web & print codes for your color palette, and basic rules about your brand’s collection of fonts. This quick rule sheet will make sure all your brand’s content stays uniform.
